Humane Society Program

We at Northern Paws Pet Lodge strongly believe in the mission of the Humane Society and the job they do in helping to find quality homes for animals. Plenty of our guests were adopted from Humane Societies and rescue organizations.

Northern Paws Pet Lodge is adding a little extra value to the adoption of pets from regional Humane Societies. For every pet that is adopted from a participating Humane Organization, the adopting family will receive a Free 1-Day Stay for that animal at Northern Paws Pet Lodge. It can be used anytime during the first 6 months after the adoption.

You'll get that Free 1-Day Stay coupon when you adopt a pet from the Eau Claire County Humane Association (in Eau Claire), the Dunn County Humane Society (in Menomonie), The Coulee Region Humane Society (in La Crosse), The Marathon County Humane Society (in Wausau) and the Clark County Humane Society (in Neillsville).

Please call or stop by your area Humane Society when you are looking to add a pet to your family.

Eau Claire Dog Swim Fest

Northern Paws Pet Lodge hung out at the pool for the Dog Swim Fest when the city of Eau Claire hosted this event on a beautiful day to help raise funds for the Eau Claire Dog Park. Nearly 400 people and their happy water dogs came to Fairfax pool in Eau Claire for what we hope is a continued annual event. Tiny dogs to huge dogs all played together in the pool, played on the agility grounds, ran the "lure course", and stole plenty of treats from the Northern Paws Pet Lodge table. It was almost as entertaining for the people and "pupper" parents as for the dogs.

Bark In The Park

Northern Paws Pet Lodge was on hand for the Bark In The Park fundraiser for the Coulee Region Humane Society at Riverside Park in La Crosse, WI. Hundreds of people and their dogs came to bark their way into the Guinness Book of World Records for the loudest group dog bark. The decibel meter hit 106 when they all chimed in at the sound of a doorbell over the sound system. There was also free dog baths, best kisser, longest and shortest ear contests and lots of smiling doggies in the park that day.
